The Worlds Best Rehabs mission statement was updated in 2019, and is proudly displayed at the entrance to our offices.
We strive to be the best and most trusted place for treatment resources and rehab information. Worlds Best Rehab is created and curated by people who care enough to challenge international standards of treatment center care.
Our award-winning professionals demand clarity in the rehab space, and our information allows our readers to get to the heart of the information that may shape their recovery.
These are our core values:
- We are bold
- We are professional
- We have a competitive spirit that drives us to be first and best resource on the Planet
- We foster trust by operating with integrity
- We advocate saving lives that could otherwise be lost to addiction
We take recovery and treatment news seriously, and our network of correspondents operate with the highest level of integrity from our base in Phuket, Thailand. An area synonymous with successful rehabilitation.
We believe that our reputation as a publisher is our most valuable asset, so it is vital that our journalism and featured content is always of the highest quality.
We believe that anyone consuming our media should have confidence that their news is from a credible and reliable source.
Every journalist and contributor working for Worlds Best Rehab must understand the legal and regulatory framework in which we operate and our own in-house guidelines and practices.
We know that social media plays an increasingly important role in our daily working lives and it is important that we apply the same standards to all of our content on whichever platform we share it.
To support these principles we have published clear editorial guidelines here.
Worlds Best Rehab is committed to authentically representing every one of the millions of users that consume our content every day, whatever their colour or creed. We do this by featuring a range of treatment centres, interviewees and first person opinion writers. We also keep a record of the gender and diversity of contributors and our ambition is to be the industry leader for inclusion in the treatment industry.
It’s our people that make our publishing platforms so successful, and that’s why we work hard to be an inclusive employer. We know that embracing different perspectives and celebrating diversity makes us a great place to work and to contribute to. It means we foster innovation and make better decisions as a business.
Worlds Best Rehab is dedicated to equal opportunities and we welcome applicants and contributions regardless of ethnicity, gender, race, colour, religious beliefs, disability, sexual orientation or age.
Our latest Gender Pay Gap Report, recorded a gender pay gap of just 0.9% average. We will achieve gender parity by 2020.
We always expect our contributors to be accurate, but they are only human, and sometimes mistakes are made. That is why we have an established process for dealing with factual errors quickly and appropriately.
Our Data Cards are based on publicly available information that is aggregated and published for information only. We gather most of our information from a rehab’s website and other online resources.
