The Meadows accommodation
The Meadows believes in basic living conditions and that is what residents of the center will find upon arrival. While many luxury rehab centers allow guests to have plush rooms with five-star amenities, the Meadows believes in tough love.
Therefore, guests live in shared dorms much like on a college campus. There are no private rooms and all guests are required to live with a roommate. Despite the shared rooms, guests will find a swimming pool, gym, and other amenities on campus.
The Meadows Privacy
The rehab center’s location in the Sonoran Desert 50 miles outside of Phoenix offers guests an escape from their lives back home. There is little to do except recover from addiction. The isolation that the Meadows preaches offers guests an escape from places and individuals that could trigger their addictions.
The Meadows Facility
The outside of the center resembles a large desert ranch while the inside looks far more like a college dorm. Guests use the gym and yoga facilities regularly throughout the day and a swimming pool is on campus. All meals are eaten in a cafeteria.
The Meadows Setting
The Meadows is located in the Sonoran Desert in Wickenburg, Arizona. Guests will find that there is little around them and isolation is a key concept used by the Meadows. It is the remoteness of the rehab center that is used to promote healing.
One of the World’s Best Rehabs
Residents won’t find the Meadows to be one of the rehab centers that allows them to lounge around to “recover” from addiction passively. The Meadows uses tough love and isolation to change residents and help them recover. Guests may share rooms but a top-notch gym and swimming pool offers the chance to heal the body and mind. The Meadows has a strong focus on fitness.
